Department of International Relations
About us
The Department of International Relations is a structural unit of the University.
The main activities of the department are:
- solving issues related to the organization of international relations and projects of the University;
- organization of studying at the University and staying in Ukraine for students, undergraduates, postgraduates, foreigners and stateless persons
- preparation and holding of the International Festival of Theater Schools “Inspiration” and the Open Student Film Festival “Prologue”.
The development of international cooperation in the field of artistic culture is one of the priority areas of activity of the I. K. Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television. Thanks to the strong scientific and creative potential of the teaching staff, achievements in the training of creative, scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel, the university plays a significant role in increasing the cultural and intellectual potential of Ukraine, successfully represents the achievements of national theater and film art in the international arena and actively develops cooperation with international organizations, theater schools and film schools around the world.
As of 2024, 8 foreign students are enrolled in the University’s educational programs of the first (bachelor’s) and third (PhD, Doctor of Arts) levels of higher education.
As for the education of foreign citizens, the International Relations Department organizes admission to the University, training of foreigners, nostrification of documents on education of foreign citizens, preparation of documents for admission to study, as well as diplomas.
The training of foreign citizens and stateless persons is carried out on the basis of: international agreements; national programs; agreements concluded by the University with legal entities and individuals.
